Registered Social Worker

Offering sessions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Amos is a Registered Social Worker with a broad range of clinical experience and is a member in good standing with the Alberta College of Social Workers.

Offering sessions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in clinical social work from the University of Calgary and have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges. My clinical experience includes working with diverse populations in youth and adult outpatient addiction and mental health services. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you find clarity, healing, and direction.

My therapeutic approaches are compassionate, collaborative, family-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed, ensuring that your voice and lived experience are central to the process. I draw from a variety of modalities, including Narrative Therapy, CBT, and DBT-informed techniques to support you in finding clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. Life can be overwhelming at times, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. As a therapist, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, understand your emotions, and move toward meaningful change. Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your life.

Accepting new clients, military veterans, law enforcement and first responders are welcome! I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta, with over 25 years of counselling experience, supporting adolescents, adults and couples struggling with complex behavioural and mental health concerns.

It has been an honour supporting, and witnessing transformative changes in both individuals, and collective systems; within the context of public health care, corporate settings, and private practice. I believe that symptoms often result from the accumulation of unresolved trauma and complex adverse life experiences. Healing is possible! I work with the understanding that symptoms can be treated using validated scientific interventions such as EMDR / Somatic Natural Processing based on Polyvagal Theory.

My goal is to support your bio-psychosocial health; to fully optimize peak performance by providing individualized treatments, guided by targeted health and lifestyle goals. Since addiction often accompanies traumatic stress, I understand that using substances or unhealthy behaviours often serves a purpose in the short term. My goal is to support individuals at their stages of change; whilst introducing healthy coping strategies and establishing healthy neurological pathways to support overall health.
